I was at my home inspection yesterday and the buyers Grandma came to see the house. Her and her husband started Benson Real estate in Gresham, he managed properties and she sold properties. I am already drawing a blank on her first name Lynn or Loretta I think. She was heavily involved in the real estate associations it sounds like she sold from ’78 -’02. Anyway she said she remembered you well, she said “he was always honest, it made a great transaction because you knew your where getting the truth from him, not all realtors are like that” she had great things to say about you. It was fun talking to her, supper sweet lady!
Just wanted to let you know your great reputation still stands!
So how did a Nebraska farm boy come to own a Real Estate office? Sorry space is limited! Suffice to say that he was raised on a dairy farm and worked long hours. His dad's philosophy is that "nothing is achieved without hard work" and Alan adopted that philosophy early in life. This probably nurtured his ability to put difficult transactions together and to always strive to make the deal work for buyers and sellers. After 30 years in Real Estate, seven of them managing someone else's office, he thought it was time to cultive some new roots (that old farming mentality), thus Windermere/Sandy Real Estate.
